Escape on a Wellness Break
Do you yearn to get away from it all, but not too far?
Do you want space to be yourself, but lack time?
Do you love to learn new things?
Do you adore beautiful scenery?
Would you enjoy a small, friendly, home-from-home environment?
If so, our wellness breaks may be just what the doctor ordered.
Our wellbeing mini breaks are designed for the busy person who wants to make the most of their time away. Combine a stay in our unique and welcoming home with learning, relaxation and some of the most stunning scenery the Highlands has to offer, overlooking the famous Loch Ness, but well away from all the tourists.
Groups are small, with no more than 5 guests, so you’ll get plenty of attention from your friendly hosts. Susannah’s family has been involved in the area for over a century, and she is looking forward to welcoming you to her home.
Your mini break includes accommodation in a shared twin room, plus all your meals, tuition, resources and transport to and from Inverness. So, if you’re in need of an escape from the everyday combined with informal learning and meeting new friends, read on to explore what’s on offer in 2026.

Creativity & Cooking
This is a wonderful opportunity to work with Highland artists and explore your creativity inspired by the majestic Highland countryside. You will have an opportunity to try your hand at ‘painting with felt’ and either Celtic drawing or Zentangle. You absolutely don’t have to be an artist; you just need an open mind, a playful spirit and a willingness to have a go.
In our cookery workshops you have an opportunity to feast your mind with recipes that support your brain health in a delicious way and are easy and fun to make together. There will also be an opportunity to explore the art and creativity of journaling. Whether you have journaled before or have never tried but have always wanted to, come and see what journaling can do for you.
